Greencoat Capital announces acquisition of a 73.5MWp solar portfolio by Greencoat Solar I LP 

 

The portfolio comprises seven solar farms, including Scottow Moor Solar, one of the country's largest solar parks (located on a former RAF airbase in Norfolk) with a total capacity of ca. 50MWp. The assets were acquired from a group of private investors.

Launch of Greencoat Renewables with acquisition of 137 MW of wind capacity in Ireland 

 

Greencoat Renewables DAC, a new, wholly-owned Irish subsidiary of Greencoat Capital LLP, today announces that it has agreed to purchase the Knockacummer and Killhills wind farms in Ireland from Brookfield Renewable Ireland, comprising 137 MW of operating capacity. The seed capital for Greencoat Renewables is being provided by Allied Irish Banks p.l.c. (AIB) and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF).

Tim Ingram, Chairman, said: "We are pleased to report the continued good performance of our portfolio and demonstrate the robustness of the Company's business model in a dynamic environment. We have delivered a total shareholder return of 17.4% and NAV growth (adjusted for dividends) of 4.1 pence in 2016 and again increased our target dividend by RPI to 6.49p per share for 2017."
